L.S Group Celebrate 8th Anniversary

It is my pleasure to inform that our  Lalitha Sahasranam  group was started with a small group of 7 people on 21st April  2004 on Gudi Padwa day,  today we celebrated 8th year with nearly 40 members.

Luckily I am part of it for the last 3 years. This year we decked ourselves with green  yellow contrast  sarees. It was so beautiful to watch all the ladies in same color sari, which signify the unity and  strength among us.

The day was started by distributing flower to all. As usual after "Om kaar",  we  had started to chant  the Lalitha Sahasranama and continued with all the other chanting of stotras which went on for nearly 2 hours, after  Maha Aarati from our group leader  gave a memorable speech which was ended with prayer for the Universe.

The prasad and juice was distributed which continued with photo session.:-)

The function ended with delicious food being distributed, with home made cooked food. It was a memorable day for me,
being with Indians from all parts of our nation.
