We all grow and undergo that BIG change! With growing age our body changes shape, our skin tone changes, even our hair changes color Clothes that suited you in your twenties don’t suit when you are in your forties and so on. Change is natural and should be welcomed with the right attitude. It’s all in the head- so, Look Young Feel Young
If when you are feeling blue, maybe it is time to change your wardrobe or try out new hair style and hair colour.
The key of looking good at any age is finding dress or clothing that really suits you. To look best in whatever age you are in, one needs to stay fit & feel fit.
A few tips:
Try to use perfect tailored or slim fits & comfortable clothes to make you look stunning. Wearing pastel shades like white, cream, beige, brown help to lift you up and one can never go wrong with these shades. Avoid very tight, figure hugging or very loose clothes.
The neck is usually one of the areas that particularly show your age, try to use high neck or collared clothing.
We usually have a notion that dressing in black makes you younger and slimmer. The truth is that using black near the face or neck can highlight fine lines. But black used from or below the waist is truly a looking slim secret.
If you are using a wide open neckline try adding eye catching accessories to avoid neck flaws.
While you wear sarees, have fun in experimenting in patterns with variety of patterns on necklines, sleeves, mix and match blouses. Absolutely contrast shades are also fun. Try to match your attire with fashion accessories like jewellery, colored bangles, bindis with different colors and shapes. A bright eye makeup will help you look attractive in a crowd
With Salwar Kameez, if you are lucky to have shaped legs pick up some tights/ leggings with Kameez or neat well fitted kurtas/ kurthis with silk duppattas which looks elegant. A neat Salwar Kameez with cream and white goes well with variety of traditional duppattas like bandini-silk duppattas. This catches up with any age group. Try mix and match play with color combinations.
Try to pamper yourself with a facial once in a month. Pedicure, manicure is a must. Chipped off nails or worn out nail polish is a big NO! A neat haircut or trimming is also necessary.
Handbag and shoes lifts you to a perfect and elegant look. Always try to dress up for the occasion.
Your undergarments are really important part of your outfit. It is like a foundation of a building that holds everything in place. Any figure fitting dresses need a tight and comfortable corset inside. This helps your stomach, hips and thigh areas look a few inches slimmer.
A bra needs to be chosen properly depending on the dress you wear. One should choose a bra that matches the color of your outfit or your skin tone so it doesn’t become visible or too obvious.
Hair color should compliment your skin and complexion. A right shade will make your eyes twinkle. If your complexion is very fair then brown or ash tone color would suit better. You can look stylish with white streaks on ash tone shades. Brown shade with platinum steaks can look wonderful. Even new grown grey hair may look stylish. Kindly avoid jet black hair.
Do not go with any heavy powdered foundation; rather use moisture foundation to nourish your dry skin.
Choose gracefully shades of lipstick. More than colors pay attention to the moisturizing and fullness of your lips. Light pink and coral shades are a good option. Use thin eye-liner and mascara for prominent eyes.
